Amy Gould graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Everest College in 2008 before becoming registered with the CMTO (College of Massage Therapist of Ontario). Amy has had an active practice in the Brampton area ever since. Since becoming a Registered Massage Therapist in 2008 Amy has continually taken courses to expand her skill set to better serve her clients. Amy draws on her skills accumulated during her trainings to customize the appropriate treatment plan for each and every client she treats. She is a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist and a Certified Infant Massage Teacher through the Liddle Kidz Organization. Being a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist (CPMT) means that Amy has undergone specific advanced training for children with special health care needs, and has knowledge of various techniques to work with children with varied physical, developmental, emotional and mental challenges. CPMTs learn methods of respectful approach to children at their level and respect for their personal space to provide them with appropriate care through childhood. As a Certified Infant Massage Teacher (CIMT) Amy leads parents through a safe and practical routine for them to do on their own child while she demonstrates on a massage doll. This allows for better bonding with baby and parents as well as a solid foundation on which they can go home feeling ready to add to their daily routine. These certifications coupled with Amy’s passion for pre-natal and post-natal massage care help define her full family practice. All ages can receive massage from infants to the elderly; modifications are made with each client in mind. In 2015, Amy became a Certified Reflexologist through Holt School of Natural Healing. Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the head, feet and hands that relate to all organs and tissues of the body. Reflexology is a safe modality for all medical conditions and a great option for those who are nervous about touch therapies.
